Accessibility Statement

Last updated: September 1, 2026

Providn is committed to making providn.com usable by everyone, including people who browse with screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification, speech input, or other assistive technology. Accessibility is treated as part of how the site is built and maintained, not as an afterthought.

Conformance Status

This site is designed and maintained to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. WCAG 2.1 AA is the standard most commonly referenced under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act and under California's Unruh Civil Rights Act.

We believe the site substantially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA as of the date above. "Substantially conforms" means the site meets the standard across its pages and functionality, with the limited exceptions noted below. Conformance is reviewed whenever the site changes materially.

What We Have Done

  • A "skip to main content" link on every page, so keyboard users can bypass the header navigation.
  • Visible, high-contrast focus indicators on every interactive element, tuned separately for light and dark sections.
  • Text and interface colors that meet or exceed the 4.5:1 (and 3:1 for large text) contrast ratios AA requires.
  • Semantic headings in a logical order, plus landmark regions for header, navigation, main content, and footer.
  • Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images, and decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology.
  • Form fields with persistent visible labels, programmatic error messages, and announcements for assistive technology.
  • A layout that reflows to a 320-pixel viewport and tolerates text resized to 200% without loss of content or function.
  • Respect for the operating system's "reduce motion" setting, which turns off scroll animations and parallax.
  • Full keyboard operability, including the mobile menu, which closes with the Escape key.

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some limitations remain. We are aware of the following, and are working to address them:

  • Embedded map. The office-location map on our contact page is supplied by Google and we do not control its internal accessibility. Our full address is always published as plain text next to the map, and directions are available by phone.
  • Third-party fonts. Typefaces are served by Google Fonts. If that service is unavailable, the site falls back to system fonts; content and functionality are unaffected.
  • Older documents. Any PDF or document we publish in the future may not be fully tagged for accessibility. We will provide an accessible alternative on request.

Technical Specifications

Accessibility of this site relies on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and on their support by your browser and any assistive technology you use. The site is built to work with current versions of major browsers and screen readers. Core content and navigation remain available when JavaScript is unavailable.

How This Was Assessed

The site was evaluated by combining automated testing with manual review — keyboard-only navigation of every page, programmatic contrast calculation of every text and interface color against its actual background, heading and landmark structure review, and inspection of form labeling and error handling. Automated tools alone cannot establish conformance, so manual review is the controlling method.

Feedback and Requesting an Accommodation

We welcome your feedback, and we want to hear about any barrier you encounter. If any part of this site is difficult to use, or if you need information from it in a different format, contact us:

Please tell us the page or feature involved and what happened. We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within three business days and to resolve reported barriers as promptly as we reasonably can. If a fix will take time, we will offer an alternative way to get the same information or service in the meantime — including by phone, email, or in person at our Torrance office.

This statement describes the current accessibility of providn.com and is provided for informational purposes. It is not legal advice and does not create an attorney-client relationship. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and this statement is updated as the site changes.
